Provides support to various lab sections through performance of accurately obtaining blood samples via venipuncture and capillary collection with regard to collection policies and procedures and concern for the patient’s emotional/comfort status Perform clerical duties, computer system tasks, supply maintenance, and other duties as required. Perform phlebotomy for hospital inpatients, outpatients, and offsite facilities, following established infection control practices and adhering to established standards and practices for quality assurance.
